I’m Not Crazy, Promise

For years, B and I have referred to my moods as if they are actual things. For example, “My Hungry is back” or “My Sleepy is making me cranky.”It’s strange, I know, but it’s how we roll. In fact, I can tell you exactly how it started…

A few years back, Hungry was introduced. He was the first emotion to be named. I realized that when I don’t eat, I get cranky. No, I get CRANKY. I started carrying applesauce in my pocketbook just in case. I’d rather sneak a snack in my car than be rude unnecessarily. So, we were riding in the car one day talking about this and said, “I wonder where Hungry goes after you’re no longer hungry…” It was a crazy, middle-of-the-night conversation, but funny to us nonetheless.

Not too long ago, I saw this commercial. I kid you not, I cried from laughing so hard. How sad is it that I have so much in common with these guys?
